Jean Paul Bindel is the official Dillman Karate International representative in France. He is the founder of the French school E.F.B. Ecole Francaise de Budo and the Martial Art Toreikan-Budo.
He starts his Martial Art career with the Judo.Parallel he starts with karate in different styles (Shotokai, Shotokan, Wado-Ryu, Goju-Ryu). He moves to the south of France, where he starts with Aikido (style Aikikai) and follows the apprenticeships of Mutsuru Nakazono. He discovers to the Aïkido Yoseikan of Hiroo Mochizuki.
He is the first European who get the 4rd Dan at the Yoseikan-Budo.
He founds his own style "Toreikan Budo" and the Organisation which he call the "French school of the Budo" in 1974. In 2007, on his sixtieth birthday, he got the 8th Dan Kyusho Jitsu from George Dillman.
