The early years of Karate Do - Gichin Funakoshi

This video shows the founder of Shotokan Karate teaching techniques ippon kumite with Isao Obata. This is the first time shown to the public this classic sequence. As already known, this sequence was in the beginning in the archives of the JKA and was recorded even before it formed. They are masters of the pre-JKA as Nakayama, Kanazawa, Okuzaki and Nishiyama, when penalties were under 20 years. This sequence is the years of 40 or early 50.
