Kadena de Mano Filipino Trapping Vol.1
The Filipino Martial Arts, also known as Kali, Arnis and Eskrima, deal with different areas of weapon and empty hand fighting.
"Trapping," or the so called "Kadena de Mano," which literally means "chain of the hands," is focused on close-quarter fighting techniques. The goal of trapping is to control the arms of the opponent and to hit the target with special follow ups even if there is resistance.
In part one of this Filipino Trapping series, you will learn important basics like hand combinations and entries to the trapping range. The basic clearing sets 1-6 will teach you how to react on different barriers and how to follow up. Many applications with everyday items and applications in stickfighting will remind of the origin of these techniques. Training methods like the so called trapping drills will increase your speed and coordination of your hands. Transitions to locks and take downs as well as applications in self-defense complete the contents
